Cikkaken Shirin Kula Da Lafiyar Al’umma (CiSKuLA) is a build-up on the pilot Comprehensive NTDs Project earlier implemented in Jigawa State between 2018 to 2020. The lessons learned formed the basis for the design of the current project, which kick-started in 2022 and will span through 2024 in Birnin Kudu LGA of Jigawa state, with support from CBM Global Disability Inclusion (CBMG).
As part of the global #16DaysOfActivism campaign, HANDS Nigeria, alongside the Nigerian Air Force Officers' Wives Association, the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, and the Fédération Internationale des Avocats, took to the streets to create awareness under the theme: Unite to End Violence Against Women, Girls, Boys, and Men. The march, accompanied by a dynamic group of drummers, was a vibrant and impactful moment. Together, we engaged communities, spread critical messages about the need to eliminate gender-based violence (GBV), and demonstrated the power of collective action in addressing this pressing issue. This event underscores our commitment to fostering a safer, more inclusive society for all. Join us in the fight against GBV and learn more about our initiatives to create lasting change.
